I am going to steal the official websites thunder by telling you that SUFCG won their final group match 2-0 last night and finish second in the group on goal difference (just 1 goal better off). Brilliant considering they were only drafted in at the last minute! Also this exert from David Gibba's Email when I inquired into the format of the league and cup competitions there: "Even the league, it is conducted in this format; in group stages then knock-out then quarters and so on and so forth. Planning is a big problem with our FA and they are not fully equipped to carry out with the planning and implementing of our league as you expect it to be, they only use the format in England for our first and second division. Before was even worse when we use to have this third division triangular between three teams with the winner promoted to the second division. The triangular is still been conducted but only for the first three top teams in the previous season among which one or two (am not sure this year) teams get the promotion to the second division league. I will tell you what, last year or two years ago a first division game was cancelled because the FA did not provide a ball for the match and the two teams refused for each other’s ball to be used for fear of witchcraft"
