FT 1-1 Bobbins won 1-0, so we should remain 4th but just on goal difference. We like to keep things interesting don't we. No nails left time again!

To be totally honest, a poor performance again today, not dissimilar to last week. I personally think no one had a good game, our best players today only could be classed as "average" against a side who, if i'm right, had no shots on goal all game. As for us, we gave the ball away too much, and were lacking in ideas. I thought their sending off was really harsh on them, and the 94 min Dundo goal, although well taken in a goalmouth scramble, Overland, their keeper (ex bobbins) had a solid game, and thought he'd done enough to keep a clean sheet.
Today we got lucky I feel, but more performances like that and forget the play offs. Good news that AJ and Bond are recovering well. The subs (Hamici, Graham and Palmer) all looked bright when they came on.
The next games are vital - Harrow on tuesday, one of the most erratic teams in the league, and Dover, who could lift the Trophy on Saturday if they beat us and Staines lose - lets make sure that doesn't happen!

4 can't complain about the red card, hardly made a clean challenge all afternoon and spent much of the game holding onto McCallum. After being booked it was a daft challenge with the ball yards away. 7 could easily have gone as well.

Dreadful game. As for Dundo's effort being well taken, it hit him on the shin and went in!

Was there really 893 there today as per the official website.
Or was it 398.

Was there really 893 there today as per the official website. Or was it 398. NO IT WAS 893 and WOOD had no supporters! Probably our worst performance of the season dreadful for 75 mins against a side as Andy K says did not actually have a shot all afternoon. I still can't understand the OG what was Abbassi doing it looked like he was trying to score from my angle? We are really making this difficult for ourselves and putting far too much pressure on games such as Dartford / Bobbins and AFCH, 3PTS Tuesday is a real must. The no4 deserved to go, he took a player out who would of been cutting into the box with no other defender close so yellow for me everytime.

Dunno about taking a player out OS, I think for that tackle their No4 did nothing wrong! That doesn't mean that there were other tackles in the game where he got away a lot lighter than he did, so overall he deserved the card!!!

This has to be a contender for our worst performance of the season, and the whole match was pretty dire with both teams struggling to pass the ball on a dry and bumpy pitch.
It's a shame that the extra spectators who came along for the Family Fun day (hence the big attendance!) had to endure such a poor display.
Overland looked much more competent than the keeper who'd played for them at ther place, so it was left to us to provide the embarrassing error in defence that gifted BW the lead. We only rescued a point thanks to the 7(ish) minutes of time added on by the ref - though I think a lot of that was for time-wasting by BW, so perhaps Dundo's equaliser was a kind of justice.

When I say took out it was only a push but the result was the same, not sure about the first booking too far away to tell.
The pitch should had water on it and roller during the week or even this morning I am surprised as our grounds people are normally very good?

Apparently the sprinkler system wasn't working, although what is wrong with using a good old fashion manual one, I don't know?
Awful game, probably should have had a pen in the first half and neither 'keeper tested until the last min of the half.
As for the og, I am told that he had to play it but why put it there? Fred Carno's circus I'm afraid.
We looked disjointed today, with yet more changes to the team. I think we need a settled side at this stage of the season and we haven't got one at the mo. We miss Hanny on the right big time & have yet to find cover for AJ, nobody has looked comfortable at left back this season other than AJ and Darren Ebsworth.
Three difficult away games coming up & we will have to play far better than today if we are going to get any reward. Home form is no wins in 5 now, all since the pitch disintegrated. Its either too bloody soft or too bloody hard.
Still, we are in 4th, 3rd place is now beyond us I think.
As I said before, lets see how we are after next Sat. Three really big games to finish off our home programme this season now and some dificult away trips too.

Iv'e got to say that i thought the right back Abbassi was awful and his first five touches put the ball out of play. Why on earth we signed him when we have two others is beyond me!Chattaway wasn't much better and proved he couldn't play left back.Chukki doesn't score goals and doesn't look like scoring.McIntosh is no better than what we already have or had and all in all we seem to be going backwards. Right,Rant over now.Lets see if we can do any better at Harrow.

Andy, Chukki was still suffering after the game from the punch in the face he received from the No. 4. He led with his elbows in every single ariel challenge and shouldn't have been on the pitch for his first yellow, let alone the second. As for his second yellow, I felt it was deserved and showed what his game was all about, he had no need to even make the challenge as the ball was running out but he was more intent on playing the man, foolish!

No.4 was an idiot, the second booking was pointless, our lad was going nowhere!! Awful performance, the worst this season? Are we signing players for the pay-offs, our No 2 why??? Great goal, wrong end!! Come on boys!!!
