Since AJ returned to the starting lineup we have gone 270mins without conceding a goal, I cannot find the last time we had 3 consecutive league clean sheets?
Since Xmas AJ has been in the starting line up 6 for matches, we have conceded only 1 goal while has been on the pitch in those games and lost none. That goal was 5 hours 50mins ago which shows what a difference AJ makes to our defence.

A fantastic result yesterday. I had major doubts we would get anything from the game but it appears we put in a strong performance.
Hopefully we'll carry on keeping clean sheets as this will give us a very good chance in the playoffs (should we finish the job in the last couple of games). I look forward to Monday - it's all set up for a good occasion.

The whole backline has been immense but although you can interchange Bond, Collins, Jacko and Kez (for they are all quality) AJ is irreplaceable. A quality left back is so hard to find. I've also lost count of the amount of headers he's gone for recently that involve him chucking himself at boots and flying elbows as if he was a six year old in a ball pool. Just the right side of mental

Some people might be wondering, so the last time we had three consecutive league clean sheets we actually had four. At the start of the 2005-2006, while winning our first five games, we won 1-0 at Havant, 2-0 at Yeading, 1-0 against Farnborough and 5-0 at Dorchester. From Maidenhead scoring on the first day of the season to Weston-super-Mare ending the run the total time was 399 minutes, which I think takes us up to just before half time at Margate. We did have three consecutive clean sheets the following season, but one was at Corinthian Casuals in the Surrey Senior Cup.
By the way, to save people looking unnecessarily, I agreed with Dos that I would interview him after tomorrow's game to cover both games this weekend (I've been away so missed the fun yesterday), so the next 'manager's column' will appear some time tomorrow night or on Tuesday.

Take away the 6 goals in the Dover game and add the facts that we conceded 0 against form team Harrow (with hot shot Gary Noel kept quiet) and stopped Boreham Wood from having a shot on target in the previous game and gave them that "wonderful" own goal our defence has been rock solid. Hope this thread does not come back to haunt us in 6 hours time.
