It might look as though our neighbours will be going up instead of the U's.
If they do make it, they will never let this fade away. Bobbins higher than the mighty U's.
Might even make the Sunday papers.
So come, get every one to give 100% and bloody score some goals.
From wishful thinking

Well, if they do, it will be on merit over a 42 game season. It will only have taken them 100 years or so to achieve that as well.

They might come straight down or be near the bottom. but You can bet if or when we play each other again, they will rub our nose's in it.
Hope it will be another 100 years until the next time they or could be if they go up.

Sod of this talk about the Bobbins, the fact is if we win we are in the playoffs whatever they do. I don't fancy Hx invading our pitch or the Bobbins gloating and there is only one to stop it and that's by winning tomorrow taking back the 3pts they stole from us in November and sending them packing back to the waste lands of Dagenham.

From what I have seen Staines are far better than Carshalton and should be hot favourites to go up. Football can sometimes not work out as straightforward as that though!

I know he's back for the play-off final, i can read the FA website and indeed had a conversation mentioning the fact he'd be back for the final with VotP after the Hornchurch game last Saturday. My point was that won't return from his ban for a play-off final to play against Sutton cos we're not in the the final and i'm pretty sure he was looking forward to playing against us in the final. Don't let that stop you jumping to false conclusions again though

Wilson, probably thinking about where to play next season as he seems to have lost his spot. Honey, probably gutted that he won't return from his ban for a play-off final against his old team. Gonsalves, probably won't give a monkeys about us as he left GGL in a huff. Bash, doubt he'd be bothered at all, wasn't really a U long enough to see us as more than an old club. Ide, is probably still thinking that the Ryman Premier is a piece of piss, being as he's capable of Conf National and has scored in the League. Quinton will no doubt still not have made up his mind as to which club he cares about more ;D Just a factual point - Paul Honey is available for the playoff final. His grin last night in the bar afterwards spoke volumes.

I think we're all quite happy to have extended our season by two games and well aware that Staines deserve it far more than any other team in the playoffs. That being said, I'll still remind a few of you of our relative positions should the rather unlikely happen on Saturday.
Not sure if Honey will make the team on Saturday, Toppin and Bash have proved rather useful as a partnership in the last three games.

It wouldn't surprise that having not played Ug when all your supporters we're desperate for a midfield with some bite that he plays him when you've got a good partnership going. He wasn't nicknamed Bird-Brain without good reason
