John Scarborough!
I had a call from Scarbs today to wish us all the best against Staines and hopefully for Saturday also, he would've come and supported from behind the goal if H&R didn't have the small matter of two games against Chelmsford in their own play-off, he's disappointed that the games clash!
I've returned our best wishes to John, he is unlikley to feature tomorrow having had stitches removed an amazing 9 days after being stretchered off with a severe gash to his thigh, he is hopeful to play in the second leg.
Cheers John!

Cheers John a legend in my eyes Is that the clash against AFCW which left 2 H+R players injured on the ground from which they took a quick throw in stepped over him, scored then allowed Scarbs to be strectchered off? Nice sporting AFCW!

That's the one, the other player involved is also out for a while, currently unable to train and has a severely swollen knee.
On the plus side, Craig Tanner is back to light fitness work although not full training as yet. Tans has apparently been 'on the weights' in the meantime and is looking pretty tough!

What a legend! Scooby that is, although CT is a fine young man himself.

All we need now is Patsy's best wishes and it'd make my day... and a certain Mr. K's no doubt.

Thanks Scoobs. Hope everything works out OK with your injury, and good luck with promotion. Always a legend, and a top bloke.

Excellent stuff. Last time i had a good luck message from Scarbs before i game (and yes, i do know it's monumentally sad to be friends with Sutton players i don't really know on facebook...) we went onto win 1-0 against Dover Athletic.
I hope it has the same effect today!
