According to Tony Kempster's site (great to see him still busy , Margate will be spared the drop to Ryman One South next season. As far as I can work out, this is an indirect result of Team Bath dropping to below Step 4 of the pyramid (and possibly into oblivion). If TB were simply relegated to Step 3, they'd go back into the Southern (BGB) League. But as instead there's a vacancy at this level, and as Margate finished with more points than the fourth-from-bottom side in the Southern League (Banbury), Margate stay up at Banbury's expense. Assuming both Bognor and Fisher drop from BSS into the Ryman Premier, this leaves the Ryman Premier with two more clubs than the Southern Premier. To balance the numbers, TK reckons Boreham Wood will shuffle sideways into the Southern. I'm not entirely persuaded that this is right, but hey, where would you rather go next season - Margate or Boreham Wood? ;D

I think you can forget about Fisher as they're almost certain to fold. And even if they manage to stay in existence, I doubt they'll be playing at anything like Isthmian level next season.
It's likely their demise is what Mr K has in mind for 'saving' Margate.

That's what I initially thought Taz, but TK shows Fisher in the Ryman Prem next season. If the Fish do go kaputt, I suppose that may mean a reprieve for Banbury and that we get to keep BW.
