Hi folks!
Seeing as its been a tad quiet on the board recently and we have our first friendly coming up in only 5 days time I was wondering what chances we have for the new season?
I must say I am optimistic ahead of the new season but how does everyone else feel? Anyone see us as Champions?
Another good FA Cup run?
Who will our "big" players be for next season?
Feel free to add some comments

After last season, where we had no expectations, if you offered me a decent FA cup run and a play off spot, I would have bitten your hand off. This of course was using virtually a new team. This year however, we do have a spine of continuity (well slightly more than last season), and a division which isn't a foregone conclusion before a ball is kicked.
My prediction is as follows
League 2nd/3rd - and winning the play offs FA Cup - 2nd Qual round (the cost of promotion) FA Trophy - our best run in 10 years, 2nd Round proper
I won't bother talking about other competitions.
Without knowing much about the team, I'd say from the old team the difference will be felt with Hann and Bray, who I think will have stunning seasons. As for the new signings, I thnk the Goodliffe will be the difference between promotion and not.
Yes I know my predictions are usually crap, but you never know, I may get it right sometime!

I'd agree with 2nd opr 3rd in League. I reckon we may have to sacrifice cup competitions though.

Although I'm really looking forward to this season, I have one nagging thought. When I saw how many players were released at the end of the season, I just wondered how long it will take for the team to gel this season. Last season due to many factors (injuries and a quite large revolving door to name but two) the side never really had a long run with an unchanged side. We did brilliantly considering, but I feel that expectations are higher this season, yet we are starting with nearly a completely new side again. Hopefully the new players will find their feet (and the ball!) quickly, play in their best positions and not get injured. Or am I hoping for too much. Play offs will do again for me. C'mon u yellows

Without seeing the new signings, I'm not sure any of us really knows.
However, if we have the potential that Dos says we have, then we should be up there.
I now this is gonna sound bad on here but I'm afraid Robins must be cast iron favourites for the title and anything less will cost Haydn his job.
I think Dartford & Wealdstone will be up there too. I'll also have an o/s punt at Hendon to do well & if, Dave Howell continues where he left off Harrow could be dark horses. Billericay, with a very good front pairing and a v good 'keeper (even if he is a bit of a tosser) may also feature.
What we must make sure of is beating the struggling sides this season. We didn't have a geat record against the bottom 4 of last season.
Still, what do any of us know at this stage?

I would agree with Frakey (surely not), that our main opponents for the title will be Wealdstone,Darftford and carshalton.Dark horses will be Kingstonian. 2nd round proper of the FA cup 2nd round proper FA Trophy Thats without even seeing the team!!
