I'm around 'your' way for again next week, and noticed that you're playing Spurs XI in a pre-season friendly. As I'm so close to the ground, I thought I'd pop along to this for a few beers, and a pint.
Could you just tell me what time the Clubhouse inside the ground opens, and how much a pint is in there, please?
Also, what crowd is Expected? Thanks.

Hello! I'm not entirely sure what time the bar opens, but 1:30 might be a good bet. Beer prices are pretty good depends what you want a pint of, really...?

As for the crowd I'm not sure, but Spurs XI played St Neots Town, a smaller club than Sutton, about a fortnight ago and the attendance for that was 1177. You would think we'd get more than that, though it is a weekday match...

As it's a Tuesday night, the bar "won't" be open all afternoon as is sort of suggested above ! For midweek games, it's not normally open until 7pm, but it "might" be open earlier for this game, will make a few enquiries and post again later

Oops, sorry, for some reason I was thinking of an entirely different game on a Saturday!

The bar will be open at 6pm and the kitchen will be serving hot food from just after 6pm

The pub you mean is the one where you have to walk through a corridor, before reaching the pub? Yeah?

Just how much exactly would a lager have to be in a non league club bar to make you think 'That's outrageous, I'm withdrawing my custom!!' ?? There's a Tesco up the road, why not buy 2 cans and have a drink in the street, that's the cheap option!

I pay £2.93 for a pint of Youngs in my pricey local: Youngs is by far the cheapest anything. A pint of Fosters is about £3.20 & a premium lager like Peroni is £4.10 which is bloody stupid! Basically anything over Fosters price and I'd be thinking hmm time to maybe go elsewhere.

A lot more than we charge, I went to Wembley and it was £4 a pint, I wouldn't to do that every week.
Sutton are cheap enough for me to head done around 6ish tonight.
