Part of the same Brighton youth team set up as Sonny Cobbs, and for someone who's moved around a bit and given a chance to settle much, has a good record so far!

Sam Gargan seems a bright young prospect who has played a few games at a higher level than us and has scored goals too. PD says in non-league daily that he has five strikers for four positions. Hamici, Dunn, Woods-Garness, Payne and now Gargan. No mention of Steve Watts being fit yet Also no comments on Official Site. I presume James Hawes and Anthony Joseph are classed as wingers. Also no mention of Marcus Richardson who played last Saturday or Kenny Beaney. Until the season starts next week we will not know how the team will gel but among a few worries I have is that we do not have a player in central midfield who is tall and commanding and can distribute well (attributes that I was always waiting for Dean Palmer to show). Any comments on how we will win any aerial balls in the centre circle? Or am I being a bit harsh? BTW I like the look of Billy Hawes at right back. Has Bentley Graham got a contract at Brentford or might he come back to us on a seasons loan?

The midfield and front line certainly does lack a bit of physical stature at the moment. I'm hopeful that Doswell's footballing philosophy can see us through, though at this level I'm a bit tentative.
