Whats happened to the live scores? I will be relying on that a bit more this season as I was unable to renew my season ticket due to other commitments. Or is there another way of getting Ryman league live scores for the league games?

Payne and Goodliffe for us. Both top notch headers. Nice run out against some very young Spurs players.

Looks like there is a problem with the server, Honsec is twittering regular updates so i think that'll have to be the way forward for now at least until Taz returns, if not the future of live scores, Twitter seems an easy way forward.

Yup defo the server! Tried it tonight too and no joy! Thought for website manager - you can put a twitter feed in the homepage of the website too - can help if you need it, I did it at work today!

Good all round performance, thought Danny Phillips was excellent tonight. Of the Spurs substitutes the number 14 looked just that....14!!!!

They were young and we scored both our goals when some of the Spurs (under)XI should have been tucked up in bed!!!
But in all seriousness thought we looked tidy and eager tonight, looking forward to Saturday.

Thought for website manager - you can put a twitter feed in the homepage of the website too - can help if you need it, I did it at work today! Its going on the home page, the site has not been updated yet for 09/10 2 superb headed goals tonight from 2 great crosses which got better and better as the game went on. We did not fail to win a PSF, so Frakey is saved a job and we looked really good going forward in that second half with excellent pace. I think we will certainly cause Ryman defences problems going forward SP looks a great find. My only problem with all PSF's is you don't get the physical battles so I guess Margate comes at the right time, they won't be looking to bring the game to us so we find out Saturday just how we cope with sides who sit a little deeper?

I agree with Fox, I thought they looked in good shape tonight and if pretty much the side that started the second half starts against Margate on Saturday things look OK. The back four of Hawes, AJ, Kes and Goodliffe looks good to me. If we worried about how we would replace Chris Collins, I think we've found the answer. Really liked the look of Gargan as well, roll on Saturday! Also, great to see a decent crowd at GGL, shame it took so long to get a bevvy, but you can't have everything!!

I was quite impressed too. There's plenty of pace and movement in this Sutton team, and Gargan provides the height up front we'd been lacking. Tonight's massed substitutes showed there's strength in depth too, and I don't envy Dos having to pick the starting eleven for Saturday! I still think the defence looks a bit ponderous at times, but if we can score more goals than last season then that shouldn't be much of a problem.
The Spurs XI (as you'd expect) showed good technique and teamwork, and created the majority of goal-scoring oportunities. But they were a very young side, and I think our greater experience and physical maturity told in the end. It was perhaps unsurprising that both our goals were headers.

We played some terrific football, particularly in the second half. I really liked the look of Beaney when he came on, thought some of our one-touch play with him, Phillips and Graham was great to watch.
Thought Gargan gave us another option up front with his physical presence and complemented Payne's pace, and after a bit of a shaky start the defence looked pretty dogged too.
Can't wait until Saturday.

I'm not going to go over the top. I thought the first half lacked any spark and Spurs had the ball for a large percentage of the half without creating much, save the goal.
The second half was a different matter. Dos changed the formation, we appeared to have a flat midfield 4 in the first period but had smething like a 1-2-1 formation in the second.
The 2 goals were excellent & Steffan Payne showed a maturity beyond is years by coming off his marker to score a brilliant header. Skips goal was class too - a superb ball in from BG.
I thought B W-G made a good contribution in the second half & agree that Kevin Beaney also did well.
At least I won't be looking through the record books now!
It will be very interesting to see what Dos does on Sat but I would go for Gargan & Payne up front, the back 4 as we started last night but am really unsure about the midfield. Still, what do I know?
