The Road to World Cup 2010 - view the blog here: theroadtoworldcup2010.blogspot.com/ - So far there are a couple of posts relating to SUFC including a report on the Spurs match. In a nutshell, we were approached pre-season by London College of Communication and invited to be one of four London clubs involved; the other five clubs being Charlton Athletic, Millwall Lionesses, Hampton & Richmond Borough. The Club is proud to have been considered for this and is looking forward to see what the students come up with. Michael Landon and Harry Dillon have started things off and incoming first year students will be taking this on shortly. Actually, here's the welcome note from the 'blogspot': "Welcome! Welcome to The Road To World Cup 2010: The Virtual Diary.
This is a project led by students at the London College of Communication and Peninsula University in Cape Town. They are shadowing teams in Cape Town and London to produce a diary of the season prior to next summer's World Cup.
In London, our teams are Charlton Athletic; Hampton & Richmond Borough; Sutton United; and Millwall Lionesses.
In Cape Town, our teams are Ajax Cape Town; Santos FC; Greenwood Athletic; and 11-Express.
Over the next season, this blog will be filled with match reports, interviews, features, player profiles, photos and podcasts, to produce a full and varied virtual diary of the 2009-10 season on two continents.
Thank you for reading - we hope you'll come back and visit us often this season!"
