SUFC (Gambia) have been let down by the company who agreed to sponsor them and are in serious needs of funds. We aren't talking much, English money goes a long way in The Gambia, but if we could raise £50 for them this week then that would be brilliant. If you would be prepared to make a small donation then it would be greatly appreciated, please see me at Tuesday's game at Horsham, or make a pledge via e-mail to secretary@suttonunited.net and I will seek you out ! I don't have loads of dosh, but lying about in my pot of change I have exactly £5 - so as long as you don't mind loads of change, you can have 10%!

I can confirm that SUFCG now have their money, they have thanked us all and will try and repay our faith in them with a win later today.
The difference in cost of living means that even small donations are worthwhile and make a big difference to them.

Can we find out how much they need for the season. I am sure we could help to sort them out in the longer term. I think this is an important and unique link that we ought to foster.

Good news from The Gambia, a 3-2 win over Golden Gate in their group game. We have approached a company specialising in leisure activities in Gambia to sponsor SUFCG. No great optimisim that they will say yes but a 500 pound sponsorship would earn many times that in advertising exposure. Maybe everyone should e-mail them urging them to say yes !
