Hello Ambers fans. The fixture list has seen fit to get one of our annual home beatings out of the way nice and early this season as we host your good selves on Saturday afternoon. I thought I'd give you a bit of info with regards to details etc. If memory serves you beat us twice at Vale Farm last season in the end but for those of you that can't remember or didn't make either game, directions can be found www.hendonfc.net/servlet/Directions (hopefully that link works). The bar will be open from about 1pm I would imagine, it probably won't be showing any lunchtime matches that might be on however unfortunately. Turnstiles will be open from about 2pm for any early arrivals to come and admire the spiffy new signs around the ground and club shop. Admission is £8 for adults and £2 for concessions. Concessionary rate applies to Under 16s, Students, OAPs and Unemployed. Programmes are £2. Hot food and drinks will be available from the tea bar just inside the turnstiles. I think that pretty much covers everything. If you have any questions or queries then please feel free to post them in here - I'll do my best to answer them. Each answer will come at a cost of 1 pint of whatever's on tap In the meantime, good luck for the rest of the season and see as many of you as possible on Saturday afternoon.

We won just the once there last season in the Trophy I think? The league match was a 0-0 draw.

Don't worry, we'll try our best to beat you anyway, since you seem to want us to so much ;D
Thanks for your post by the way: very useful.

Looks like a top of the table clash at the moment!

Sally - I just think I ought to bow down to the inevitable sooner rather than later delboy - With any luck we'll have already printed by the programme so it's still 2nd v top. I fully expect Billericay to hold our rampant strikeforce to a turgid 0-0.

Just a warning on the travel front for Saturday - there's engineering works on the Jubilee, Metropolitan and District lines!
Fortunately the two lines that run nearest Vale Farm - Bakerloo and Piccadilly should be running as normal, so hopefully your journeys won't be too disrupted.

There may be a random Worcester City fan and some mates turning up to the match. I hope they'll be supporting Sutton (contact having been established via the Tinpot Terrace forum), but I'm sure Hendon will be glad of the extra cash on the gate.

They were spiffing as always (unlike the District Line).
