The subject of clubs spending beyond their means or our club not spending enough has come up many times before on here and Lewes are a prime example. They stand 2 weeks away from being wound up with @350k of debts built up while chasing glory, the good times have gone as have many of those who called themselves supporters. The toilets don't works the floodlights needs 8k spent on them, the managers office was towed away and the electricity supply was cut off for non-payment and was only reinstated due to a donation. Martin Elliot's (chairman 'no relation to ours') big plans lay in tatters as his building sites lie dormant and all the other directors have resigned.

I think its a good read for anyone who has accused our board of not spending more money in the past and shows just how well ours is run. The last time we played at the Dripping Pan we lost 5-0 and I can still hear the taunts from their terrace beer drinking supporters as we left.
