If we can't make the night can we post any questions that we have for Dos and Bruce on here?

I'm sure it could be arranged that questions forwarded on could be asked. Don't see why not.....

NB The date change to Thurs 8 October everyone. Now advertised on the main site. Please make sure you come along and support this event and persuade others to come too.
If you really can't make it, post your questions here and I'll make sure they are asked.
Taz; you OK for this date to record the Qs and As?

A few dodgy questions to get the ball rolling Why don't we play with two strikers? Other than Dartford what side has impressed you? How will we fare once Steffen goes in January? How would you cope without kit man Clive Do you intend to stay with Sutton for the long term?

I have a question for Mr Doswell,
"If you had a pet goat what would you call it?"

Reminder to folk to come along this Thursday evening. VPs' bar 7.30pm start.
If you really can't make it, post your questions here and I'll ensure the (sensible) ones are asked.
Taz has volunteered his secretarial skills and the Qs and As will be available to view here when he gets round to it.
Carpe diem - it's your club!

Hi.
Gatekeeper, I think most of your questions were covered tonight and I dont know if the answers will be recorded somewhere as notes were being taken. Sadly nobody asked him what he would call his goat so I can't enlighten anybody about that.
It was an interesting evening and can I be the first on the forum to thank Dos and Alan for their honest answers and to the chairman for giving his whole evening over to answer fan's questions.

Over 50 people attended last night's very entertaining and informative evening.
Thanks again to Dos, Alan and Bruce for their time and their willingness to answer everyone's questions so honestly and positively.
Cheers Dan for doing the "minutes"; I'm sure he'll post the record of the evening on here soon.

Will aim to tidy up the notes I took at some point today. Once they've been approved, I'll get 'em on here and also see about making 'em available on the official site.

A very entertaining and informative night. Many thanks to Paul, Alan and Bruce for giving up their time. Good also to hear John James talk about the redevelopment of the ground, well done John.

Very informative & Dos & Alan make a good double act - I think Alan must be the funny half!!
As for some of the audience, they apeared very under informed.
To the guy who thought Terry Yorath was in the Leeds team that played Sutton - sorry mate, he didn't.

Hi,
Not sure if I have missed your point frakey but surely it doesnt matter if the people in the room were not totally knowledgable on the team and the history (I am a relative newcomer myself but found the evening to be very entertaining and I probably picked up stuff that helped inform me more). I would have thought that enthusiastic newcomers keen to know more would be welcomed.
Surely the guy who mentioned Terry Yorath just made an innocent mistake. Yorath was a big player for Leeds in the 70's and that game was a few years ago now so no harm done.

Speaking as someone who has been vaguely sceptical about PD, I must say that the evening has turned my opionon around. Both he and Alan answered all questions well and informatively. It was very interesting to hear about wages, budgets and league/cup priorities. It was also good to hear the background on the Payne signing and transfer deal. Someone like myself would never have found out anything about the above subjects had I not attended the meeting. I shall now be attending matches with renewed interest!
