MEET THE MANAGER AND CHAIRMAN - Thursday 1 October - 7.30pm - VPs' bar SUFC.
We are very grateful to Paul Doswell and Bruce Elliott for setting aside the evening of Thursday 1 October to answer supporters' questions about the team and the club in general. We are hoping for a big turn out for this opportunity for fans to find out more from Paul about the running of the team and the decisions he makes - he will be available from 7.30pm to 9pm to answer your questions. After a short break, Bruce will then pick up the baton and answer your questions about the club. Last year this evening was a great success with both men offering honest and insightful views on what they are hoping to achieve for Sutton United FC. Paul's huge enthusiasm and the tremendous hard work he has put in speak volumes for the ambitions he has for the team - come and find out for yourself what he is hoping to achieve on the pitch and how he hopes to get there. Bruce and his colleagues do an enormous amount of work behind the scenes to ensure the club operates smoothly off the pitch. Come and find out his views on what it takes to run this club and where we he hopes to take it.
SUFC is YOUR local club - this will be a really interesting evening but it's down to you to ask the questions. Entry is free -make sure you come along and spread the word to others to come too.
It would be useful if you would register your intention to attend this evening on this page such that we can gauge likely numbers. Thanks in advance.

Great! Big thanks to Bruce and Dos for giving their time. Such evenings help bring the supporters closer to the team and allow free expression of opinion.
By then we should also have a reasonable idea of how the team has shaped up. Should be a good eveing. Both me and my Dad will be there.

It's a Thursday, so I can make it.
Would the usual 'minutes' service be required for those who can't attend? Or can I have a beer with my feet up at this one? ;D

Actually, just realised I won't be there. Have tickets for a gig that night & taking the missus.
So, unless someone else offers, there won't be any minutes\summary as with the last 2 meetings. Sorry!

Evening all!
Just to let you all know, Dos has been called away on business for 4 days around the 1st Oct and as such, can't make the original date. However, he & Bruce are happy to move this back a week and hold the meetingon the 8th October instead.
I'm told this is subject to 100% confirmation, but is almost certain to be on this date.
Ta!
