Technology doesn't always let us down though. Within minutes of the game ending I received an e-mail from Gambia, where they had been listening to Margate's live commentary, to great excitment apparenetly and especially when we grabbed the equaliser.
Talking of Gambia, we're having zero luck with sponsors so are open to any bright ideas for ongoing fund-raising, they need about 500 pounds per season.

Simple - two cute kids going round with a bucket for pound coins at every game...easily raise that in a month or two, especially if fans were allowed to drink on the terraces!

Actually you reminded me of something, a boy was collecting with a bucket inside the ground so I part with my £1 and say what are you collecting for? He says Margate football club, I thought that was very naughty and I am not even sure that a club is allowed to do that?

Weren't/aren't Accrington doing that to try and keep themselves afloat, among other things?

I don't mind them doing it and I note they had a brake in last night someone nicked their computers and trashed their bar so they are having a tough time at the moment, but I am sure its against the rules??

By 'OK to do it' I mean I believe it's within the rules rather I'm OK with them doing it... which I am. Confused? You will be!

OS, why put money in a bucket if you're unsure what the collection is for?

OS, why put money in a bucket if you're unsure what the collection is for? Because I am just a kind person and would of given even if I had known it was for Margate, I am just surprised that's all?
