After the entertaining game on Tuesday. We are likely to see the reverse on Saturday. Who will go for a scrappy win on Saturday? Uxbridge will be up this fixture, the U's will need to be focused otherwise being knocked out of the cup could be a very likely outcome. My prediction, poor game with the U's just doing enough

I can't make it Saturday sadly but hope for an easy win (we have had a few tough games lately). If we play like we did on Tuesday (for the first hour or so anyway), we should come through it.
I will go for 2-0 and a professional performance with no real scares (talk about the glass being half full - mines a pint).

I would not get too carried away about Saturday. Uxbridge have a few experienced players in Dave Sargent, Kevin and David Warner and I think Nathan Stamp ex Basingstoke is with them too. AND they beat us 4 years ago 1-0 in a Trophy replay at GGL. It could be a nail biter but if we can move and pass like we did in the first hour against Dartford who knows?

Preview on Uxbridge Website:-
Gander Green Lane, home of Ryman Premier Division Sutton United, is our next point of call this Saturday. This is the first time we have reached this stage of the competition since 2004 when we lost 0-1 at East Preston and you have to go back to 2000 for the last time we reached the 3rd Qualifying Round.
On that occasion a certain Mr Choules masterminded Northwoods 5-1 victory against us. Sutton meanwhile will be looking to emulate last seasons achievement when they reached the First Round Proper, losing 0-1 at home to Notts County.
The U's are currently occupying a mid-table position in the Ryman Premier Division having won 4 and lost 5 of their 9 games. We last met in a competitive fixture in season 2005/06 when we won 1-0 at Sutton in a FA Trophy replay after drawing the first game here at Honeycroft 2-2.
Our last meeting before that was in the Full Members Cup in 2001 which we won 2-0. Sutton are obviously favourites on Saturday but the FA Cup is renowned for shocks and hopefully it will be our name in the draw come Monday morning.
If Saturdays game results in a draw then the replay will be here at Honeycroft on Tuesday 29th September, 7.45pm.

It won't be easy by any stretch of the imagination. I hope it's a decent game as I've managed to find a few mates (no funny comments please) to bring along.

It's always dangerous making predictions about your own team, but I'd be surprised if there aren't at least three goals in this match.

It won't be easy because if Uxbridge are anything like when we have played them before they will be solid at the back and go for high balls into our box and mix it a bit or try and play off set pieces. They are just the type of side who can come to GGL and cause an upset if the wind is in the right direction and we should be under no illusions about that.
Big important game that's needs to be won no less so than our previous 2!

If the weather forecast is accurate, there will be no wind to worry about on Saturday. That will make a nice change!

I'm tempted to say that we should win comfortably but Uxbridge have given us a few shocks in the past.If we score early then we can look forward to the 3rd QR.

I think it depends which Sutton Utd turns up. Our lack of consistency has been extraordinary really. We've really gone from one extreme to the other in the games I've seen.

Potential banana skin, but Uxbridge have been even more inconsistent than we have! On the basis of our 3 previous game, anything close to that we will win. But we have to turn up

An open game with plenty of chances for Sutton to bury Uxbridge. Who do you want in the next round?
