I would not be surprised if we lost However I believe with the correct attitude we should win I think PD was being honest.

Will Sutton be making a serious attempt to win this one ? Or is it one of those moody games where they will be delighted to be knocked out ? I had my fill of those last season thankyou very much.

Billy, were you at the Q&A tonight? If not, thats a shame, as a lot of questions of yours would be answered....

Hi. I was at the Q&A and Saturday will be taken very seriously I feel. The situation with Jerson was clarified as well Paul T and I think we may see him soon

You may well scoff but cup exits last season seemed to be greeted with great joy.Promotion,we were informed by those in the know, was the only objective - they didn't get promoted.

Not FA Cup exits! I think there is a general apathy towards the lesser cups. Perhaps this year we have a squad big enough to change things round a bit and still go through in the smaller cups. Would be nice to win something. The best we can hope for promotion wise is through the play offs and everyone knows they are a lottery.
TBH the FA Cup is the cup that really matters as one decent run can have a massive impact on the club - not only the prestige and 'glory' involved but the financial gain can provide stability for the long term future if we get one plumb tie. Also you get the knock on effect of attracting a few more through the gate and getting them hooked!
On another note J Hawes, Anthony Joseph, Cox, Hann, Woods-Garness. Anyone think we're going to struggle to keep all of these when playing for 2 wide spots, or to put it another way will one or two be sent on their way? Interesting. Is Jerson an out an out forward or does he play wide too?

For someone who pleads ignorance and asks so many questions and makes so many assumptions, I'm disappointed you couldn't make the Q&A last night, it could have possibly enlightened you more than you thought possible. Your comment seems to imply that the Ryman League Cup is of equal value as the FA cup. If you do, then thats your opinion. Its one I certainly don't share, and I don't think anyone else I know at Sutton shares either. The FA cup offers handsome prize money, greater media exposure, higher gate receipts and the opportunity to be part of the most famous club competition in the world. The Ryman League cup makes us lose money. If you look back as well, Dos stated that his aim was to get Sutton promoted in TWO years. Not one. We got within 1 game of promotion last season, so got close to the 2 year plan in one. Plus additional welcome income from a cup run where we had not been since 1995. You need to check your fact before coming on here and making sweeping statements Billy, it just makes you look foolish. As was made clear last night, players and the management team are more than welcome to talk to fans after the game in the bar. Perhaps taking up that opportunity would be of benefit.

Apolgies Andy K,please cut me some slack because i'm not as clever as you. I was just wondering if it would be worth walking round there to watch it. If i know a full strength team will be picked and they will be trying then i will go.
If not,as happened a few times last season,i don't want to waste my time........................

Am i the only one thinking ur negative comments are just pointless?
If your going to sit here, and slag the team off, or continuously put SUFC down, why bother staying here? If you want to go and see a quality team, that will hopefully forfill your ridiculous expectations, then go to Arsenal or Chelsea.
Do you not think Dos is trying to do everything possibly to get us promoted? Because, i think there is only so much one man can do in a TEAM. I'm totally behind Doswell, and i think he's doing a good job at this club. So billy, can you actually get BEHIND THE TEAM? Instead of trying to question it and make negative comments all the time?
