I know there is nothing bad towards Stefan but he is a contracted player who we are paying and surely we should use him until we have a suitable replacement.

Billy has a good point. Having one up front only works when the opposition come at you.On saturday i believe we should have used two strikers in conjunction with the wingers. In his notes Dos stated that we shall be seeing less of Payne in a yellow shirt.I don't know why he didn't play on saturday but surely we should utilise him until he actually goes in January. Probably because if you were an 18 year old who got a dream move coming up, your mind would not only be elsewhere, but you'd be a little bit too worried about pickin gup an injury which could ruin your dream. Nothing bad towards Stefan there, just human nature. At one point in the game, we were playing 4-2-4. I can't see anything negative about that! We were not negative but 3 of the 4 forward players were playing wide, Dunn, AJ2 and Cox is not a striker so we only had Sam in the middle? Stefan should be playing as we are a striker down at present.

first it was 5 forwards 7 8 9 10 11
then 4 - 2 - 4
then 4 - 3 - 3
then 4 - 4 - 2
now 4 - 5 - 1
What next ? 4 - 6 - 0 ? Although of course many teams are already using this "system" away from home. You don't normally see the home teams do it though, especially play - off hopefuls against relegation candidates.

LOL I thought that Billy Dunn came on as the other striker rather than playing wide but Sam does need someone with him when we play against teams like this.I'm also surprised we didn't change formations so as not to show Hereford are tactics as i'm sure they had their people watching.

I hope they weren't watching - I was rather thinking they would think this as an easy game and barely even bother to turn upon the day, allowing us to catch them off guard!

If two up front at home is what people want, Jerson hit a timely hat trick for the reserves. If he keeps his head down and keeps scoring, maybe he could be a decent partner for Sam.
