Yes the first community fun day of the season will take place on the 14th Nov at our home match against Ashford. Some 4000 applications have been delivered to 8 local schools including a senior school for the 1st time. The day will take a similar format with a penalty shoot out competition and attendance of the local MET safer neighbourhood teams with their mobile unit.
Apart from double the applications going out this time, Radio Marsden will be broadcasting live to the Borough from the ground on the day and they will be promoting the event over the next couple of weeks on their shows.
We managed to add @400 to the Boreham Wood game in March and it would be good if we could beat that and put the crowd up near the 1000 mark this time, but turnout depends a lot on the weather and maybe how well we do this Saturday??

What about leafletting the Saturday High Street - rescue a lot of people from shopping hell!
A stall to rival the 'Free Cup of Tea and a Biscuit' Islamic Stall?
Leaflets in Friday night pubs and bars?
Leaflets should include a map and £2.50 off a ticket...

But this is only our 3rd Fun day and hopefully they will get bigger and better as time goes on, all ideas and offers of help are welcome. Its probably too short notice now to add anything extra to this one but we will learn a bit more for the next one, and if you or anyone else wants to get involved in future days then just PM me. We have for the first time a local company involved in sponsoring the event on a small scale but we need more local firms to get involved.

Have them attend a stall on the High Street with flyers, wearing the Amber & Chocolate.
If it's good enough for the God Squad, it's good enough for the Us.

Has anyone contacted the local rags? They're crying out for a bit of news that is moderately cheerful.
