Quick reminder that the Youth Team are playing AFC Wimbledon tonight at Kingsmeadow ( kick off 7-45 ) in the 1st Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup ( The winners are at home to AFC Bournemouth in the next Round ), would be nice to see lots of Sutton support there tonight excercising your vocal chords ready for Saturday !

I'll be there. It's a very important game for the club. It would be great if we can get a good result. Let's give them some support!

They had more than enough chances to win the game. The Wimbledon Keeper pulled off some unbelievable saves. This was the same keeper who played the second half of the first team friendly against us [highly rated] With a bit more composure we could have won. Best of luck to Wimbledon against Bournemouth.

Over 200 watching last night and as KBB says we had the chances and at one time near the end of normal time the Dons were rocking but we couldn't quite put them away. Still a very good performance and well done also to the coaching staff.

Fine effort from the lads. Mostly first year youths I understand.

The youth were the better side overall for the first 90 mins (especially the second half, when the game should have been put out of reach of the Dons). However, in et we lost momentum, conceded a goal & never really looked like forcing pens.
It was a great effort by the team though & if hadn't been for Jack Turner, the Dons' 'keeper, who made one outstanding save at 0-0, U's would have been entertaining B'mouth not Dons.
In the end it took a brilliant goal from young Drewett to beat Turner & U's can feel hard done by but proud of their overall performance. Well done to all involved.
