As the dust settles on yesterday's euphoria I've been looking ahead with relish to the forthcoming fixtures and I note that our home game with Harrow has been re-arranged for Tues 22nd December.
Erm?
1. It's three days before Christmas and therefore got the worst attendance of the season written all over it.
2. It's four days before our eagerly awaited Boxing Day fixture with our neighbours which is quickly followed by a difficult visit to Cray and the return fixture at Colston Avenue. 5 big games in 15 days including 2 high octane local derbies.
3. It means that we now have EIGHT fixtures arranged for the (expensive) month of December, four of them in midweek.
4. We have NO fixtures arranged for midweek in January
I know there are some ridiculous regulations about arranging a fixture within a certain timeframe of the postponed date but arranging this particular match for December 22nd seems more than a little strange.
I'm sure there's a good reason however...?

I shall be there. This may very well be like the Waltham Abbey match in that few of the other Ryman Premier sides are in action so we have a big chance to move up the table. An extra incentive to attend?
