First up, sorry you didn't get the result you hoped for at Hereford on Saturday, but it's always good to see Ryman sides on the TV.
As some of you may be aware, we (Hendon) have signed Billy Dunn on loan for three months.
I wasn't there, but apparently he made a good impression on his debut on Saturday at Hornchurch. What can we expect from him?

Utter football genius, or an anonymous performance. No question of his talent, a very talented footballer, but isn't the same player every game. He could do well for you as he did at Margate earlier in the season

Thanks for the good wishes, Steve.
Billy is a very talented young player, still a bit raw but with lots of potential. (He had a trial at West Ham last season.) He loves to run at defences, and is capable of scoring spectacular goals. He usually plays as a striker but Sutton have also played him in a wide position - he made mincemeat of the Hastings right back in our 3-1 win at the Pilot Field last month.
However, he's not been a regular starter for us. He has a tendency to do his own thing on the pitch rather than following instructions, and I think our manager feels he needs to get more discipline into his game before he can step up a level. I guess he's been sent out on loan in the hope that regular first team football will make him a more mature player.

The boy has ability without doubt. Personally I think he needs a solid run, playing week in week out rather than the odd cameo here and there as a sub. The few games he had early last season seems to prove that.
He's also not a wide player, where we've mostly used him recently to be fair.

Billy can take a game by the scruff and win it for you with moments of magic, a genius with the ball and sometimes clueless without it. Great as a impact player but you never quite know week to week what you are going to get, but no doubting his ability and potential.
Does this loan move pave the way for us to bring in a 2nd CF to support Sam at home???

Thats Woods-Garness & Billy both out on loan now, with Stefan gone to Fulham. So I think we might perhaps be seeing a new face up front?

I like Billy Dunn alot, but i agree, he has games where he is sublime and other where he struggles to get into the game.
I'd like to see another CF to go with SG, i wouldn't mind a Charlie Ide sorta player, quick and skillful, who could run of Sam.

I'm disappointed he's gone out on loan as after seeing him tear the Hastings defence apart i thought he'd be a regular on the left wing.Looks like Dos is bringing in another striker and it also paves the way for Jerson to do his bit.Perhaps Steve Watts is also in the frame now but is he fit?

The only worry i have is that would Watts pair up with Sam well? as they are very simmilar in technique.

You want a busy bee type to mix it around and draw the markers away from Sam - what about Danny Phillips? Or that lad Stefan Joseph in the reserves?

I think Jerson could be the one to play with Sam. Pace to burn just like Stefan Payne at the beginning of the season. Billy was good sometimes (i agree with earlier comment about Hastings away game, he ruined their right back) but he his lack of discipline/youthful enthusiasm let him down on other games.
Lets hope he comes back with a a bit more discipline and fulffils his undoubted potential.

Saw Billy in a green shirt for the first time tonight. Very impressed. Unfortunately he had to leave the game after an hour with a knock, but he scored early in the game, and later hit the post with a superb shot on the turn.

Glad to hear he did well, but hope he's OK.
