Horsham v Sutton

My research shows that Horsham had 8 players who played in their last league game plus three subs from that game and Haddow and Charman who played in the league game before that.
Our side consisted of two who started at Hereford plus five of the subs plus 6 reserves (incl Stefan Cox who was cup tied)
Looking at those stats we did ok AND from where I was sitting and the murky view I had the guys all tried but the last pass was usually poor. Fair result and a good run out for some. BTW I agree with remarks about their bench. Their very opinionated spectators in the stand were also great value and I have to say I gave as good as I got!!

I was working in Bristol so couldn't get to Horsham, but managed to make ko at Coldsore where Wyteleafe turned the Bobbins over 3-1. Steffan Ball came on as sub for leafe, paul Honey started for Bobbins.

I was hoping for some positive reports on Jerson's performance. The ideal player to be alongside or just behind Sam, I would've thought.

I thought our performance last night had plenty of energy (including from Jerson, who was booked after challenging their keeper for a backpass). What it lacked was co-ordination, but that's unsurprising given that this XI weren't used to playing with each other.

Now that we're out of three of the four knockout competitions, let's hope we can give the league campaign a real go.
