Well it's certainly frustrating, we know Sutton can play better than this so why aren't they?

So where did OS go when in full flow, or did anyone not notice 15mins to go 1-1, I pop to the bathroom turn on tap then off, then hear water gushing out shower room. Tap joint gone water everywhere, cannot get to the little twisty valve so runs with arse on fire to turn stop cock off. Water coming through ceiling 110 towels in use, manage to stop leak, when all calm check score we lose 2-1. Waiting for emergency plumber to sort me out and you could say that I am really p*ssed off at this moment in time. Imagine if I had gone tonight what I would of come back too?

Well I'm not going to be too downhearted by that. Maidstone were restricted to three shots on target all night. The new boy Charlie Taylor had a good debut and was unlucky not to score from a tight turn in the box. The 'penalty' was a joke. The lino flagged, the ref blew and appeared to believe it was off-side. The lino shook his head and placed his flag across chest to indicate a penalty. The ref overruled him, and having stopped the game was obliged to restart the game with a drop ball in the penalty area. Our equaliser came moments later from a corner which I believe went out of play during delivery. It is also my belief that the lino probably ignored it to make up for p*iss poor decision aforesaid. We were well on top until about twenty minutes from the end when Cox replaced Perkins and proceeded to lose the game single handedly.

This always looked an awkward fixture for us, but in the event it was very disappointing to lose. Although it was quite a tight game we created enough chances to earn at least a point. I agree that Charlie Taylor had a highly promising debut.
Sadly, luck just didn't go our way on the night. There was the penalty flagged for by the linesman but not given by the ref. There was the Goodliffe header that crashed down off the bar only to be cleared. And there was the knock that AJ picked up after we'd used all our subs, without which he might have prevented the cross that led to their winner.
Things aren't looking too rosy for Sutton at the moment - only one win in six (including Cup matches) and we're now in the bottom half of the table (if only just). We really need a win at Bognor on Saturday to get our season back on track.

The league is still very tight so although we are bottom half now a couple of wins could put us back in the pack. Wealdstone and Hastings look quite strong at the moment and we know we can compete with them so its not ability which is the problem. The fact is for whatever reason we are not scoring enough goals and it does not matter if the oppos had 1 shot if they score and we don't. The pattern seems to be that if a team comes at us we can get at them but if they stay at home in defence we just have no answer to it?
(Plumber been btw and I have moped up but I am still p*ssed off)

Thought the substitutions let us down today... We appeard to be on top, once the subs had been made, we looked so much weaker. Thought steffan cox was off the pace and was dissapointing. Hopefully we can turn over bogner and bring get some confidence back.
