From OS (no not me)the other type of OS: www.suttonunited.net/news.php#852 Sutton have signed striker James Norwood on a month's loan from Exeter City. The 19-year-old, who joined Exeter in the summer having caught the eye with a prodigious scoring record with Eastbourne Town and also with England Schoolboys, has made four senior appearances for the League One club having made his debut against Leeds at Elland Road on the first day of the season.

This is good news, sounds like a striker with ability and I see he has two league starts to his name, which is certainly a good sign. It will be interesting to see how he does.

If he's as good as Mackie, great!!

I wouldn't normally welcome Norwood to Sutton, but I'll make an exception for James.
Anyone described as "prodigious" is ok by me.

Living in Exeter and having Exeter City supporting kids (well, nobody's perfect), I have had the pleasure of watching James Norwood on a few occasions this season. A very quick young player with excellent potential. Thrilled that he's gone on loan to GGL - I think he'll make a real impact at Sutton. Similar in many respects to Jamie Mackie although tended to play in a wider position at Exeter.
The one down side is that he tends to play in pink boots.......

He wore yellow ones today. Good lad. Played well too. Amber, Chocolate and Pink probably too much for the lad. Glad to hear he had a good game.

I thought he was excellent. He brought a new dimension to our play and had one shot which was just amazing, although the keeper was equal to it with a blinding save.
Looking forward to seeing him over the next month.
