Right, I'm bored and I've seen this elsewhere on t'internet, so I've blatantly nicked it......
What's your best U's moment 2000-2009? Any of these?
5-0 @ Basingstoke & runners up? 6-0 v. Bobbins Boxing Day 2003? 4-3 v. Eastbourne FA Cup & Vaggy in goal? Cornwalls' last minute winner @ WSM. 1st away win in 9 months? Dom 'toepoke' O'Shea @ Eastbourne? Scarbs winner @ Stalebuns? Jon Nurse & his predicted hat-trick @ home to Heybridge? The '20 second captaincy' v. Thurrock?
C'mon. Let's have 'em....

Got be the 6-0, especially Ug's thunderbolt.
Also the last of the goals against the Scummers in a 4-1 win at our place a couple of years ago, a wind assisted 40 yarder by Brake I think, keeper was nowhere. Laugh? I nearly shat...
The Blasingsmoke 5-0 was awesome, especially as it meant we finished second having been 19th at one point in the season.
Wealdstone the other week was as good as I've seen us play for years, but the shine has gone off that in the fortnight since...

Like Vern, I'm not quite as dyed in the wool, but Danny Phillips' goal against Hornchurch to set us on out way to the play offs was pretty good. Wattsy's penalty of the same game was equally dramatic, if less easy on the eye.

Its hard to see past the Eastbourne game, but Stalebuns was special for the hope that it provided even if it was just for a week. One game I would add is the 3-3 at Hayes, to be 3-0 down at HT with them doing the Clown tune, got to be my lowest ebb as U's fan, freezing cold too. I can still see that header flicking the top of the defenders head on its way to the roof of the net. OK only a draw at Hayes but a special moment especially after going nutty for a few mins to turn round and see normally smart CoSec with shirt hanging out and tie halfway around his neck

Some joyous moments have been mentioned but nothing will quite be like the six nil for me. It was just perfect.

Did all that happen during the last Decade? The wilderness years after the departure of NB has clouded my judgment and if asked before this I would have guessed at the back end of the nineties.

OK, I didn't actually answer the question! Dom's Eastbourne effort was great, but I'm going for H&R in the FA Cup - Such a great atmostphere!

Can I put forward a friendly at Leatherhead about 3 or 4 seasons back? We won rather comfortably and it was about 90 degrees out! I managed to drag seven mates along which I think is still a record for me.
On a more serious note the 6-0 Bobbins game gets my vote.
