Winning away at Woking in 2000 is one magic moment and seeing our young Jarrad (spelling?) being frog marched out of the ground by those officious b*stds that call themselves stewards. All of the above mentioned were great too. I think the top must be the 10 game (9 wins and an away bobbins draw that should have been a win) streak to come 2nd to CI at the end of the 2003-2004 season. This came after an awful home defeat to Maidenhead and the fight between Matt Hanlon and Nicky Bailey a little earlier. That is my purple period. Lows must be from October 2006 to May 2008 when my only contact was by text, phone or internet and boy were there some lows then Maybe I was done a big favour by "him upstairs". You unlucky s*ds had to endure pure hell. I used to wince when I got a text message during games as usually it was for a goal against us.

Filbert, you were otherwise engaged mate. So we suffered for you.
BTW, did I mention you owe us a pint for that? ;D

I think he was referring specifically to the Woking variety. And having 'worked' with 'em in that capacity, I can wholeheartedly agree with him. They're like that with other stewards as well!

BTW, did I mention you owe us a pint for that? ;D All of us deserve a pint for that period! On a personal level, flying back from a Korfball trip in Holland to see us thump Newport County 4-2 away was pretty good. £12.50 a goal was a pretty good return on my investment i thought!

As a collective, the win over Robins, the 3-1 at Canvey & H&R this season.
Individually, Luke Cornwell's 18 min hatrick on full debut, his fabulous winner at WSM and Nicky Bailey's superb equaliser against Aldershot. Jon Nurse at Kettering too.

Ah yes, Nursey at Kettering.....*misty eyed* I was going to mention that one, in the face of some torrid abuse not normally heard at this level, great goal and great win. All the sweeter having left home at around 5 and arrived at the ground just after kick off, at 9pm. Nearly gave up the journey but then I found out from Bruce that the team coach was still on the M25 at 7pm so we kept going!

Yes, I was on that coach - 5 hours without a ciggie, worse than Hereford, LOL!

Going back to the very start of the decade, we had an impressive run to the sem-finals of the Trophy (whilst falling out of the Conference). The 2-1 home win over Dover in February 2000 was pretty sweet, with a late winner from Aidan Newhouse. I missed the win at Rushden & Diamonds in the next round (quarter-final), but I suspect others may want to nominate that! Others have mentioned the 2003/04 season. I can't really go for the 6-0 over the Bobbins as I watched that in some discomfort from the stand while recovering from a nasty vomiting bug that my two year old niece had kindly passed on to the family at Christmas. The 3-1 win at Canvey, with the thrice taken Nicky Bailey penalty, was probably the highlight for me. There weren't too many highs in the Conference South years, but the 5-0 at Dorchester in August 2005 was a bit special. The 2-1 triumph at Clarence Park in January 2008 (with Harry Ottaway's pass to Scooby for the very late winner) proved to be a false dawn, but boy did I enjoy the p*ss-up afterwards. Finally, the 3-1 FAC win at H&R this season would have to be a contender.

Theres a lot of moments i'd pick really
Firstly the games... Bobbins 6 0 Our last Ryman game pre conf south at Braisingstake Dorchester 5-0 in the conf south Bognor 4-0 away in that horrid season Wealdstone and Hampton this season Dover last season (at home I hasten to add!)
There have of course been "moments" which will stick in the memory Winning at Aylesbury and sharing the draw with fans in the bar on the Sunday Invading the pitch for the first time in years when we beat Hornchurch last season Scoobys last min winner at St Albans in our relegation season
One of my personal favourites, when we beat Farnborough in aug 05, i flew to Australia that night, and was in Terminal 4 having a burger and watching sky sports news to see we were top. It was a nice feeling and everything just seemed right with the world....if only it stayed that way...
More to come as I think of them

The atmosphere at Hampton was was good as (actually, better than) anything I've experienced at top flight matches.

How about Glenn Boosey running round half the K's team to score a few years back?

Nice spot medibot. That is one helluva talent gone to waste. I think he was at Corinthian Casuals but not sure where he is now.
