Shame as there are 2 players who are, I think, too good for the level Met Police play at!

He has been spotted playing for a Sunday team on a number of occasions in the past few seasons - even when he was playing for us !

I played against him a couple of years ago while he played for Sutton, think the sundays team was Mitcham Dynamo in the Morden & District League Division Seven. Felt weird to kick a player up in the air (He didn't like it) and while picking him up to comment on his performance the day before.

I know players did it in the 60s/70's when I was playing in M&D Div 1 but they always signed a different name on the match card. I remember one memorable game when this defender in the opposition signed Smith (or something like that) kept saying all game long when it was in the air "Bobby Clarke's ball - he was quite good too. I believe he may have played for Sutton.

As long as they aren't contracted players they can play Sundays if they want, though unproffessional, nothing illegal about it.
My old side played against a side jon nurse played for with other teams complaining about it knowing he played for us.
Good luck to them I say, football obsessives can't play enough.
