Well, if fit, it will be Rooney, Defoe, Crouch & probabaly one other as Capello has suggested that he will only take 4 recognised forwards.
Heskey has been his choice most of the time, because, although he doesn't score goals, defenders don't like playing against him when he's in the old-fashioned target man role.
As for Zamora not being good enough for Fulham, go and ask the vast majority of Fulham fans what they think. Roy Hodgson is no mug & he says BZ has played well since he took over from Sanchez. Just this season he's scoring goals.

I am sure the 4th will be Owen, simply because he is finding the net again and he has done it before, works well with Gerard. Rooney nailed on cert, I am sure Defoe will go along with Crouch, anyway that would be my 4.

Last time i was at Fulham (admittedly it was right at the beginning of this season), most people I spoke to thought that John Pantsil was the best of the two that came from west ham. They might have changed their minds now, but the view of zamorra was not so positive back then.
Good luck to the guy but I remain to be convinced. I will look again at Easter to see if he maintains his form.
As for England, I think Heskey will go along with Rooney, Defoe and Crouch. I dont think Owen will make it myself.

I'd be amazed if Owen made it.I'm biased but i'd take Agbonlahor, combined with Ashley Young and James Milner.

He is a tosser mate.Sadly, the modern day supporter can only repeat what the TV "experts" tell them instead of forming their own opinions. . Presumably you include Fabio Capello and Martin O'Neill in this category? If only they had the insight, experience and football knowledge of our Billy!

Owen won't go. Not playing often enough and Capello won't take someone on reputation alone.

I watched Heskey many times for Leicester and was really disappointedd we had to sell him. MON and Capello seem to like the lad. He is a very honest pro, gives 100% and has never been a goalscorer like Billy's quotes of Osgood and Worthington. Give me EIH any day. He was a round peg in a round hole at Leicester and we were successful whilst he was there. Maybe at Liverpool he was the proverbial square peg. Opinions Billy are what they are but I feel you have really bashed the guy and he doesn't deserve that. as for a bag of lard I wonder what would happen if you gave him solid punch? my betting is your fingers would need surgery LOL. Foxes rant over. Merry Xmas Billy ;D Sorry Frakey that your trip to Basel could bring forth such yuletide banter and merriment. I think there's an argument for taking 5 strikers, particularly when you've got decent utility players like Milner and Barry that can fill a number of positions.

Milner is playing really well at the moment but Barry's form has dropped off after signing for the devil!

When were Leicester City ever successful ? I must have missed it. I thought three losing FA Cup Finals in the sixties was about it for them in the time i've been watching.

I wouldn't worry about it Filbert. How Billy's karma is 0nly -5, is beyond me. 85% of his posts come across as negative. Rarely as a good word to say about anyone unless they wore flares the first time round or shared the limelight with The Beatles!!
Bobby for England! Let's see if it works again!
