Rain just turned to heavy snow here on the South Bank. I think its a night at the local harvester rather than footy tomorrow!

Is the snow heading my way(Kent)? It pissed down for a couple of hours this afternoon.Has stoped now but if it freezez tonight Kent will once again be buggered. Looks like it will be Wacky Races again in the morning as grit seems to be a rare thing on our roads. Safe journeys to everyone in sunny Surrey.

TBH, Sutton council haven't bothered to grit many of the roads or pavements locally. So even if the pitch was playable, no fecker could get there.

The whole of Sutton town centre was a standstill, after a couple of centimetres of snow, if that!

The whole area from Carshalton, Sutton, Purley, Wallington etc has been at a complete standstill since the snow. The roads have frozen, no gritting at all cars and buses stuck in ice even on main roads. Just spent 3hrs getting from Wallington to Carshalton. it looks like Armageddon out there, the entire council needs shooting!

The Council have been spending all my council tax money on cocaine and ladyboys instead of good old grit.
They should be thrown off the top of the Aspects Skyscraper. Every man jack of them. Especially Sean Brennan.

I completely agree, it may have only taken me an hour from Worcester Park to Hackbridge but the roads where awful. My other half left work in Leatherhead at 5.30 and is only just past the Drift Bridge now.

I had some bloke run into the back of me in Cedar Ave last night simply because he applied the brakes and just kept on going. Basically, if you stray off the main roads, you're f*cked. Took me 45 mins to get from Egham to the Worcs Park exit of the A3 this evening. Then took me an hour and a half to get from there to my place next to Beddington Park. Why? Because no bastard had bothered to stick any salt\grit down. And as for the pavements.......

Our pavements are pure ice and have been for days. I want to have the councillors lined up and shot, in the bit of the High Street where those teeny bands play on Saturday afternoons, opposite Waterstones.

I have leant one lesson today and that is don't set out in a 4x4 with a smug look on your face, as although they are fantastic in these conditions are they are of less use then a push bike if the roads are grid locked or some burk thinks he can take his rear wheel drive sports car down the side roads and gets it stuck. I am buying fecking Tank for next year that way I can just flatten the buggers

Why on earth people don't slow down with their gears instead of their brakes is beyond me.The majority have no idea how to drive in this weather.
