Just to keep you all updated. The pitch is free now free from all ice and snow, but is soft and wet in places. Barring any heavy rain or hard frosts, the groundsman is very hopeful that the pitch and surrounding areas will be fine for Boxind Day.

It is a bit soggy on the far side as per norm but if there is no rain then should be OK.

We have had a little rain overnight, and no pitch inspection is planned. The match referee will be at the ground at about 1am, but we as a club cannot see any problems.
