Just to keep you all updated. The pitch is free now free from all ice and snow, but is soft and wet in places. Barring any heavy rain or hard frosts, the groundsman is very hopeful that the pitch and surrounding areas will be fine for Boxind Day. Merry Christmas.

Excellent. Let's hope the Sutton players go easy on the mince pies.

I have just been to Sutton, one or two soft area's , but looks pretty good considering. 100% playable at present, and the forecast is favourable

Blimey our pitch is getting more visitors on Christmas Day than some old people. It is a bit soggy on the far side as per norm but if there is no rain then should be OK.

Crikey, BBC says heavy, starting about 3am, clearing in a few hours though.

Morning all, we need to set off at 12.00 to get to Sutton by about 2.30 (depends on "sale" traffic). Is there a pitch inspection planned? For what it's worth it's a fine dry morning down here.

Looks like a little rain up here but nothing substantial, i'm sure someone will be on here before then to update.

Good Morning. We have had a little rain overnight, and no pitch inspection is planned. The match referee will be at the ground at about 1am, but we as a club cannot see any problems.
