Well i certainly would hope that Ian has a bigger budget from the word go.We enter the Cup competitions way before xmas and who knows what a good cup run could bring in revenue. As we know this is where the big money is made especially if we could get a TV appearance.I'm fairly sure that if we were to make the 1st round proper and draw a league club our reputation would get us a TV spot. This in turn would help with improvements around the ground.

Didn't last year's accounts show a loss of ~£44,000? Bugger!

I haven't seen last years accounts as the last one's on the official site are out of date but that would be a shame. However how was the loss funded? By share issue, loan or capital?

From what I understand, I doubt Haze will get to see a great deal of the transfer income we've seen this summer.
So I'd suggest getting your arses down to the PSF's if you want to see the summer 'signings'.........

Good old Nicky, just one sulk away from Chelsea now He told BBC Essex: "I was disappointed when Southend came in for me in January and Barnet turned them down.
"I had a sulk and hoped they'd still want me in the summer and they did. Them getting relegated hasn't changed my opinion on playing for Southend."
