Would have thought if he hasn't played 1st team football since August he'll some time before starting? Also think the side is actually far more settled this year - it is only a couple of areas Dos is looking to strengthen and has been changing in the main. This is only because he can't be satisfied with how good we are and how many games we're losing!! While you do need continuity to be successful if you are consistently losing games the players aren't quite good enough. We're 2 or 3 players away from being a good side in my opinion.

My last comment was just a pun, BTW. Bare jokes I'm sure you'll agree.
Not sure I totally agree Gareth. I've lost count of the amount of players that have come in, played 1 or 2 games, then gone out again. I'd argue that we lose games because we don't field a settled side, not the other way round.

Until it appears on the official website or is verified by the likes of Honsec or CoSec it remains just a rumour no matter how strong the source. It also works the other way as with AJ2 if the club say a player has signed then he has no matter what the other lot say. A lot can happen between agreeing terms and actually putting pen to paper?? Fine words butter no parsnips my friend. I know things.

I can confirm we have signed Francis Quarm from Hampton. Sorry for not posting before but the paperwork wasn't completed until 10 minutes ago.
I've been tied up with other things as well. For Saturday's book launch we've now got Garfield, Faulkner, Brookes, Bladon, Pritchard, Mellows, Waughman & Drabwell. If you'd like to have one of these players as your guest under the Legends' Lunches scheme, please let me know asap.

United land Hampton's Quarm By Stuart Amos »
Sutton Untied boss Paul Doswell reckons the capture of Hampton & Richmond Borough’s Francis Quarm will give him and his side a new lease of life.
The 26-year-old, one of three players to quit the Beveree this week, has penned a contract keeping him at Gander Green Lane until the end of next season.
Quarm has barely featured for the Beavers this season since injurying his knee in August, but Doswell is convinced he will add greater strength to his squad as he plots a course to the Ryman League Premier Division play-offs.
“It shows how far we have come to think a player with genuine Blue Square South quality is keen to come and join us,” he said.
“He is someone who can break up play and get the ball to the players who can make things happen for us. There aren’y many better than him at doing that in the league above let alone in our league.
“Steve McKimm has done a terrific job in that role, but I want him coaching and Francis is going to be the perfect fit. I’m really excited to be working with him.
“I’m sure there would have been other clubs interested in him, but he wanted to come here which is a credit to what we are trying to achieve.
“He is not 100 per cent and will need a couple of reserve games, but once he is back he will give us the top quality 18-man squad we are going to need to get to the play-offs.”
Fellow new boy James Fraser, 19, is expected to make his debut against Ashford Town (Middx) tonight, but Doswell is adamant he hasn’t broken the bank to get his men.
“There is an amount of money to spend in the budget and we are bang on target,” he added.
“We’ve been able to get people out on loan and have got people in without paying silly money for them.
“Without having had an income for a month or so because of the weather, it is a credit to the football club that we have still been able to come out and do the deals we’ve needed to.”
Sutton’s next four games: Jan 19 Ashford Town (Middx)(h), 23 Tonbridge Angels (h), 27 Guildford City (a), 30 Aveley (h).
