ok i'm one of the quiet ones so can't really comment. However within 10 mins the match was over maybe the fans are suffering from tiredness too?

It's a shame to see so many people on here criticsing the fans for not creating an atmosphere and getting the chants going but not doing anything about it themselves. I criticise because I always shout for the team but today I felt I was on my own at times.

Who played for Hendon and Manchester United ?
Could someone kindly point me at that "green & white" site with all the ryman results please ? I used it regularly last year but can no longer find it.

very pleased with result, definately a more 'run at them' attack style; like when we are away. i agree with vernon Dos made a comment about how quiet the crowd was, very bad.

Ta Can be accessed by clicking on 'league table' on the official site and then click on the football web pages text just under the table. Or just click this: www.footballwebpages.co.uk/index.jsp?comp=11

Very good result! Especially as the pitch is, er, still the pitch... Thought AJ2 had a great first half. Would love to see more like that from him.
Yeah, we (the fans) were a bit quiet, particuarly in the second half. But mostly, I think, because we were missing the usual chant/song leaders and much of the action was the other end of the pitch. I'm sure we'll pick up again, there's plenty to sing about at the moment!

Interesting to read this from 13,000 miles away that the main talking point of the game was the quietness of the crowd! No dirty fouls, no bad reffing, no one here making ill informed comments about some of our players? Now as I certainly ddn't contribute to the noise (apart from shouting at 6am when I heard th final core), there are days where fans will be quieter than others. The impression I get is that it was rather dull after 25 mins (I could be wrong!). Yes I think fans should mak noise, but thats an opinion of mine really - part of supporting a club is you find your comfort level at games -someone who goes to every game and doesn't make a sound does not make them a "worse" supporter that someone who screams their head off. And supporters are also allowed off days as well as players are! The fact remains that we are doing great this season, we all appreciate the squad, the backroom staff and especially Dos, but we don't alway need to scream about it. I'm back for the Cray game, and I'll be making sure I'll be making some noise But yet again another 3 points from a great team and a great performance. I honestly can't complain, and won't look to anything to complain about I'll be making some noise on my return!

To be fair, the game was over as a contest in the first 25 minutes or so. Good header for the first and (from our point of view) some abysmal defending that Joseph and Watts took good advantage of for the other two. We were poor at both ends in the first half and while the 'goal' we had chalked off late on looked harsh (you'd never see a defender penalised for easing a player off the ball like that, and they were being allowed in other areas), 3-1 at half time would have been very flattering to us.
Second half, I don't think much changed from Sutton - rather you were just a touch uneasy with the fact that we started getting forward a lot more, and of course that we had the slope in our favour. Still looked a touch dangerous when getting forward, but we defended better and kept a bit more possession. It was a bit surprising to see a side that was comfortably ahead look nervous, but it wasn't anything terrible. Penalty was as soft as you're going to see, not a foul in a million years (although a silly lunge nonetheless) but probably only served to even up the disallowed 'goal' in the first half. The game'd have probably got interesting if we'd managed to force a second, but to be honest I don't think the result was in any doubt and that probably makes a bit of difference atmosphere-wise

I think that's a fair assessment of the game although very difficult from the other end to make a judgement on the disallowed goal. Hendon have always tried to play football when I have seen them but as you say you cannot give the best defensive team in the division a 3 goal start and expect anything out of the game. Dos has a habit of dropping the team deep to defend a lead and although I don't like it, I cannot argue that it has been working well and teams don't generally get much for their possession.

I suppose there is a slight slope but you wouldn't really notice it.

Of courde, there is a slope. It is not a huge one, say like Aldeshot but the pitch has always had a slight downward gradient towards the CR end.
