Its all very quite on here about Canvey tomorrow, I hope we get good support there and really get behind the team although a win might not secure a playoff place, it could mean we go into the Ricay game knowing a draw will get us over the line. Its significant for Dartford too who will take the title if they win at K's tomorrow but need us to drop points if they fail to win. Canvey's slim hopes of a playoff place will disappear completely if they fail to beat us.
We have to give it a big game atmosphere with support to match, we are almost there but an inch is as good as a mile if we don't grab it.

Can't make it, too far for a family man. Will go and spy at Ks though.

The preview on the official site suggests we've still got a few injury problems. The impression given is that Matt Hann and Sam Gargan are both some way off full fitness - though I wouldn't be completely surprised if one of them made a miraculous recovery in time for the game. The major worries are in defence. I assume AJ is still recovering from his ankle injury, Steve Perkins and John Cartledge limped off in each of our last two games, while Kes and James Hawes may be tired after playing 90 minutes against Croydon Athletic just yesterday evening. We should at least be able to put out a strong midfield of Pouton, Cobbs and Quarm - with Dobson, Joseph, Taylor and Woods-Garness options in the wide positions. The first four of those didn't play in the Croydon Athletic game so should be fresh.

The thing is if we secure a playoff place sooner rather than later we will have a chance to get some of these players fully fit. Apart from the fact Staines deserved to get promotion last year, they were fresh and ready for the playoffs and we were knackered.

Bradley impressed me hugely at Croydon so if fit enough I hope he gets a start. However I thought he was out until the end of the season before Thursday.
