Sutton United legends to face celebrities
Members of the Sutton United team that beat Coventry City 2-1 in the 1989 FA Cup will play a celebrity XI at Gander Green Lane on Thursday, May 13 (kick off 7.30pm)
Robbie Earle, Clive Walker, Angus Deayton and Gary Chivers are scheduled to line up for the celebrity team, managed by boxing promoter Frank Maloney.
Admission is £5 (children and concessions £2) – for details call Mark Caswell on 07977 831519.
Sutton United will be making a donation to a local charity from the proceeds of the game. ;D ;D

HI, Able has asked me to point out that the Sutton side will be representing teams from several eras and this will not be the full "Coventry team"

The last information I had from Able was that the Sutton squad will include Steve Rogers, Paul McKinnon, Gary Flemington, Trevor Roffey, David Jones, Nko Ekoku, Stuart Massey, Simon Quail, Danny Bolt, Mark Watson and Tony Rains, and the 'management team' will also involve John Rains, Bobby Mapleson and Micky Cook.

Last night's result was Sutton Vets 5 Celebrities 2.
Goal scorers for U's were Paul McKinnon, Mickey Joyce 3 and Nko Ekoku. Yes, a hat trick for Joycey! It was great to see those goal scoring legends again still doing their stuff. Such a pity that so few turned up to watch them.
