Probably because Croydon has a population approaching 1 million - its not that much smaller than Liverpool. Maybe that explains it. Doesn't explain why they are all tinpot though

The existence of Crystal Palace up the road explains why they are all tinpot.

Who on your staff did the totally convincing Dowson impersonation when speaking to him on the 'phone about signing for a good club for less money lol

He clearly wasn't happy at Coldsore and they either weren't going to retain him or he wasn't going to stay.

Well done again on an excellent signing. Joking apart, it's nice that both our clubs (yes, I admit - or should that be confess - to a sneaking fondness for you guys) are looking up, not down, at the moment. We've both been through some horrible times these recent years but the bottom line is we both have a heritage most other non-League clubs can only dream of. I am not one of those of the hooped persuasion who wishes you ill. When we are playing each other in BSS, with an eye on promotion to the Conference proper, I will consider natural order restored.
Good luck and all the best to all you Choc 'n' Poos - have a great summer.
Simon
