Seems they've overturned the FA decision on appeal and will be playing Ryman Prem football next season. graysathletic.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=313&page=1Means that Margate are relegated after all and we get a trip to, I believe, sunny East Thurrock instead. So about the same thing really.....

I'd rather go to Margate than E Thurrock - even if ET is a new ground. So that looks like three trips next season to the ale desert that is the north Thames estuary.

Actually, got ahead of myself a bit there. Not been confirmed that Margate go. So there is a possibility that we'll run with 23 teams instead.....

How strong will Grays be? Let's hope they aren't threatening; they can only now start to amass a squad which may cause problems.

Would be nonsense to go with 23 teams.

Grays fan in peace here.
Looking forward to another trip down Gander Green Lane.
In answer to how strong we'll be - we certainly won't piss this tinpot league!!
We have a groundshare at East Thurrock with no real income apart from gates and some sponsorship.
Working hard to get a new ground, but that is a few years away, so we'll do our best on the pitch, but we are a month behind everyone esle regarding players because of the F.A. appeal.
Word is you are favourites followed by Ks?!), so best of luck for the season.

Would be nonsense to go with 23 teams. This is the Ryman League we're talking about here!

Seems it's been confirmed Grays are in the ILP next season running with 23 teams, though the league are going to arbitration to try and get the decision overturned.

I don't think this is over. Seems that at the Ryman AGM, ETU have stated that Hutton FC of the Essex Olympian League have an agreement with them to groundshare, not Grays! What I find weird is that at NO point during all this do Grays seem to actually have got a groundshare deal signed with anyone..... EDIT: Seems to be backed up by one of the K's officials here.... forums.footballwebpages.co.uk/forum.jsp?id=2&article=84966
