Vern why not go over to the C R side and get a raised view and you can moan your socks off to the others doing the same. Stop telling me where to stand. I will stand where I choose. Stand where you like but don't then complain about the view. I get a feeling the dugouts are there to stay so you may have to just deal with it.

No you're right, these obstacles are a great addition to the ground. Should we ever get a big FA Cup tie again then we could do without the club-side terrace.

But hopefully we will 1 day! I personally don't like them but as has been said they're not gonna be changed... But maybe we could raise the ground level in front of the stand by a little so that people can see over the top!

Or cost of smashing down 30 newly-laid breezeblocks?

A classic case of can't please all the people all the time. FA said we had to do it, Dos wanted them for sensible reasons. Luckily enough we have a big enough ground that people can find another place to watch the game and feel comfortable watching it - you try going to some of the away grounds we've been to in the past, this is no problem at all compared to some of those!
As Greek said, stand somewhere else if you don't like the view, or stay where you are and accept it. I'd rather have that put in place than playing at a ground like Hornchurch

So IF we get that FA Cup tie, maybe you could put your suggestion of smashing down 30 breezeblocks to the club, then it is a win win situation we can keep them for now and increase the capacity if required.

Exactly how big are these new dug outs ? Can i still see the pitch from my favoured seat/s halfway up the stand to the left of the tunnel ?

I expect the view from the O.G. Stand is unaffected. It's only the clubside terrace which has been rendered useless.

For what it's worth I think it seems a valid moan. Not sure on the costs involved of having them lowered in to the ground or even kept by the barriers but repositioned slightly. Think I'll prob have to move too. It's not worth worrying about though. The point has been made there are plenty of other spots.
I'm sure the club thought of everything when they did it though, and if indeed the spot below the stand was not supposed to be used for viewing (I've never known this in 20 plus years of viewing!) then maybe this was part of the thinking to get everyone moved away?
