Won 3-0 apparently. Jason Henry with 2 and Warren with the other.

Squad was basically the same as it was on Tuesday, the exceptions being no Wilson (hols), Steven Opoka (sp???....no idea where he was), AJ (injured) and Lewis (no idea). Ross White was an addition, although I'm told he played against Walton.
An absolute nightmare of an M25 journey for everyone meant the game didn't kick-off until nearly 7.30, and I think we only played 40 minutes each way because of the lack of floodlights. The 2 linesmen were plucked from the crowd, the teams stayed out on the pitch at half-time and it was roll-on/roll-off subs, so it had a fantastic Sunday-league feel to it all!!
Despite all this, it was another fairly useful work-out in the end. Jason will be pleased to have got off the mark (depending on whether the game is ruled to have been a "proper" match"!), and Warren scored a good individual goal late on. Defensively I thought we were much better than we were on Tuesday, and Scott Fitzgerald's tactical awareness looks like it could pay dividends if he decides to carry on playing.
Best news of the night though was that AJ's injury from Tuesday night is only a dead leg, and he could feature in Saturday's game

Thought it was a very decent performance tonight, looked good going forward, and pretty solid at the back. Thought Warren took his goal well. Liked the linesmen as well!

Comfortable is the word i'd use. Not a lot for the keeper to do and some impressive play and well made goals. I didn't see too much of him from the end i was in but everybody seemed very impressed with Fitzgerald so hopefully he can keep that up for us. Not bad considering i was volunteering myself for the right wing just before the planned kick-off at seven o'clock when we only had 8 players sitting looking lost in the changing room without a manager, kit, goalkeeper etc

I've not seen anything yet, but it sounds like SF will wait until the pre-season ends, and he and Haze will work out what's best. Having someone experienced in the team who can play 3 or 4 in every five, whilst coaching and helping our younger players like AJ, etc can only be a benefit.
