How ridiculous! never seen dugouts at any other ground that obstruct the punters vision ;
you obviously cant stand in front of the main stand as i have for 20 years ; view from lower seating in stand is also partially impaired.
Solutions please!

Sorry if it bores you meddles but there's obviously a problem if the view from the stand is impaired.Maybe they could be reduced in height slightly.

I sat three rows from the back of the stand on Tuesday night.The view is indeed impaired.

Surely the answer was to install a rigid perspex structure; i understand that this was considered but for money reasons these oversized fall-out shelters were preferred. The club may well lose soon income in the long run as a result.

If the club's proposed stadium redevelopment goes ahead then the dugouts will be replaced again. The current ones are a short term solution and the materials and labour was free I believe.
Don't forget they did need doing as we were breaking FA rules with the old ones!

Rax is correct. If the ground development comes off, the 'new' dugouts will have to go as part of the plan is to bring the near touchline closer to the main stand (& thus give more space on the far side).
Until then, I'd say you're stuck with 'em.

Come round the other side and stand with us, we're really very nice people I thought the vocal support in the second half was the best for some time. I think we can blame the dugouts for that

The view from in front of the stand has never been the same since they took out the half terrace and extended the front of the stand. I say we knock the front of the stand down and put the terrace back. While we're at it, how about replacing the plastic seats with those nice wooden benches we used to have? ;D

Dos on the hot topic:
"''The backing was superb on Tuesday and there was a really good noise coming from the terracing on the far side of the ground. I think there were more people over there because of those who have moved from in front of the stand because of the new dugouts, but it looked and sounded great and hopefully it will continue.''
