Does anyone know what is stopping them from putting a youth team out, or am I missing something?

Does anyone know what is stopping them from putting a youth team out, or am I missing something? Because the problems lay a little deeper then just putting a side out.

If the rumors are true, a large percentage of the back room staff were full time and have left along with the manager, assistant and players. Therefore, while they may have players willing to play, they will not be able to complete and submit the required paperwork as they have no-one to do it.
Players have to be registered with the first team before they are eligible to play in the league or any cups. If the whole first team has walked out, this would mean that Croydon Ath would have to complete the registration of between 16-20 players before they can compete in a first team game. This would be a fair task for anyone (just ask our boys!) but if there are no staff to complete this paperwork, they will not be able to field a team. Add to this the fact they have no appointed manager or coaching staff and apparently no ground to play at and things really look bleak.

I understand that beneath the chairman, there is a huge void staff wise. As Holmes says, sounds like the staff were FT and have jacked with the team & management. Also sounds like all the accounts have been frozen due to the laundering investigation going on with Mr Majeed.
Not sure why they'd have no ground, as it's council owned I believe. Unless part of the alleged 300k debt is unpaid rent.
I'd be surprised if we see any more from the Rams this season.....

I spoke to somebody yesterday who said that K's will get the money and good luck to them (none of it was their fault).
That could have been a difficult tie if it was played 3 weeks ago before it all broke down at Croydon so they have had a bit of a touch really.
Shame we didnt draw Croydon. No game for two Saturdays would have been good for some of the injured players and an easy 3 grand wouldnt have gone amiss.

O'Shea and about 5 of his side were at the Bobbins last night as well. Looks like they're angling for work!

Sam Long, one of the ex-CA players, has reportedly just signed for Dover.
