Perhaps a little harsh on us, as I thought we looked the better side in the goallesss first half and early in the second. Warren caused them a few problems up front, and Gareth looked assured in goal.
Back four (I think) were Lee Pestle, Darius Charles, Scooby and Asher Hudson. Solomon Taiwo, Paul Honey and Nick Greene were in midfield, with Craig Tanner and Jason Henry in wide positions.
There were a few changes at half-time, with Phil coming on in goal. We lost impetus a little when Warren went off later on, although sub Ross White had a lot of pace!

Thought 2-0 was a tadge harsh, but they were the better side and it was a much better workout than saturday. The Millwall lads were much stronger and better organised than the side Brentford put out.
Nice to see one of the Bees better players from saturday in our colours tonight though. Thought Mr Charles did very well. 1st half was very even, bit of a midfield scrap really. And the 4-5-1 we used didn't really work. Warren got behind 'em a couple of times, but had little support.
Spell we had at the start of the second half was very good and unfortunate not to score, but after that, few changes, bit of swopping about and their fitness told.
Still, that was our third game in 6 days and the lads did look a bit tired towards the end.

Not too bad a game to miss. Though a little kid in a Sutton kit coming into Brighton WH Smiths earlier thiss evening made it seem like somebody was taking the piss I've not even seen kids in Sutton shirts in Sutton, let alone bloody Brighton!

I think Taz is about right first half I nearly fell asleep, what ever we were trying it didn't work no support from midfield and a couple of half chances that was it.
We started the second half really well and should of been 2-0 within 10 mins, but I think Haze saw that combination worked and changed it again to see something else. The oppos were physically strong well organised and gave us a decent workout.
Its really difficult to assess the quality of the teams we have played so impossible to say how good we are.

I thought we looked good and was pleased with this workout. Milwall shut us down quickly and in the end their superior fitness told but we more than matched them for most of the game.

As the eagle-eyed amongst you have deduced, Darius Charles is one of the players joining us on loan from Brentford. Also Sutton-bound is Bees striker Ross Montague, who couldn't play yesterday because of a slight injury.
We're also pleased to announce that midfielder Nick Greene has been signed on contract.

Was he wearing an old style quartered away strip? If so, I saw 'em at Clapham on my way in last night.

Good game and work out all told. There was about 20 minutes of the first half worth watching and we should've been one up at the break after a near point blank header was well saved. Could and should have had a few in the second half before they got their goals but it was good to see us battle the whole way and not let heads drop. Roll on the Tanners who beat Carsh*lton 2-1 on Tue night.

Good to hear that Nick Green has signed on....any news on the likes of Asher etc yet Hon Sec?
First half last night I thought was a formation that we might see at a few away games this year - very solid all over the park, with Craig and Jason doing their best to support Warren up front.
How we didn't score in the second half I don't know!!

We could be in trouble on Saturday if home team goals count double Rax ! According to the Tanners' site it ended 1-1 v The Robins.

Its a sad day for me knowing that Patsy is no longer captain, but maybe without the burden he can be even better this season!!
