If it's the same as past seasons it goes national in the 2nd round proper - that's the first round after Christmas. The first round proper is done on the same basis as the 4th qualifying of the FA Cup ie divided north and south, but the regionalisation in the qualifying rounds is fairly loose and we have played Dorchester, Trowbridge and Newport in the 3rd qualifying round before.

The normal twaddle from Billy. Yes, T&M had chances but we had four guilt-edged opportunities in the second half before we finally scored. Below par today, yes. Lucky, never.

i am with frakey on this one. It was not our best performance and certainly not as good as were at their place earlier in the season but we were not lucky. 2-1 would probably have been fairer but the 3rd goal was quality.

Always good to get £2,200 in the bank for it, goes a way to pay for our fines from last week!

- MANAGER'S COLUMN -
I thought it was good to win today and get through to the next round but for 70 minutes I thought the performance was as poor as I’ve seen from us, and I think Tooting can count themselves unlucky because they were the better side.

Sorry to be a visiting pedant, but if you feel your goalscoring opportunities are 'guilt-edged', that may explain why you've suddenly stopped scoring for fun in the league...

As another pedant, we've not exactly been scoring for fun at all in the League to be honest.......
