Would it be a bad thing if we were eliminated on Sat? The league or the trophy?

We won't win the trophy. I can't see anyone who isn't a full time team winning it. But a decent run will provide a much needed boost to our budget which will help us sustain a promotion challenge!

Injuries permitting, a round or two will stick a couple of quid more in the kitty.
However, a prolonged run wouldn't really be of much benefit to us.

I would like us to get through and get conference south side in the next round. Bromley away would be nice!
Who would you like to play if we win?

Got to be progressing in my opinion in this trophy! After the nightmare against Alton we need to get a bit more money in the budget!

It'd be good to get back to winning ways and has been said, money in the kitty.

Not that fussed about who in the next round really. Somewhere away that we've never been before would be fine. Or at home in a winnable tie* *Had to put the last bit or the chairman will shout at me again.

Don't think we will be winning this trophy but its been a while since we had a decent run in it, we must be due one?
Also I would like to see us play cnf sth of conf nat sides to see how we do, I think we have only played H+R from a league above us in serious competition since we were relegated (accept the 2 FA Cup match against league oppos that is?).

Winning games is a habit, so a good trophy wouldn't do us any harm I think. Plus it's always nice to beat the local sides.

how long is it before you can draw a club from anywhere in the country in this competition.
My brother has moved to Halifax so an away game against them would mean a good weekend up there for me.
Need to get Tooting out of the way first though so better not count any chickens

A nice thing for me would be a new ground. May be wrong but do the northers coming in quite soon? So two wins or so and it could be an exciting trip to Marine or somewhere equally glamarous.

Isn't it the same as the FA Cup i.e. first round proper? That would mean we have to win 4 matches until it goes national.
