I'd guess today's starting 11 was what IH has in mind for Basingstoke next Saturday - with the exception of Scooby who I believe will be suspended (as a result of his red card at Histon last April).
We won the game in the first half, and the mass of substitutions in the second half evened it out into a stalemate. Once again, Warren McBean provided most of our attacking threat.

Have to admit, the squad is looking stronger than it has done for a few years. Greene and Hudson are looking to be 2 good quality signings, Mcbean is scoring for fun at the moment, and Watkins is possibly a better player than he was when he left us. Agree with the Aleman that the starting 11 (with the exception of Scooby) could well start against Basingstoke, which to be honest should not be too much of a test. The first real test of the season will happen on Tuesday against St Albans. But from what i've seen so far this season, not only do we have a good squad assembled, but we also have a good depth of squad, with a number of player being equally comfortable in a couple of different positions.
Maybe I could be wrong, but there is a good confidence, and more importantly, a good team spirit. This could be a season to remember in a good way.
