Official website www.suttonunited.net/news.php#1205A pity, but who knows, we may have ended up benefiting financially from this whole saga more than if the friendlies had actually been played.

Fulham FC and Sutton United have been unable to find mutually convenient dates for their pre-season friendlies.
I guess both clubs are already fully booked for July Aug 2011 then?
Still we got some money and official line is that the matter is closed.
so I will go throw up in bucket quietly!!!

I'd rather take the cash. Saves having to bugger about with the billy big bollocks Premier League messers again next summer....

Premier League next year? Some improvement needed to be sure about that! (Sorry Mark).

it had best be substantial payment cos i reckon we could have had 2-3000 for that friendly especially if they had brought a fairly full strength side!

I don't suppose we shall be rushing to sell any players on to them in the future.Certainly not with clauses for friendlies or alternatively stipulate an agreed fee if a friendly can't be agreed.

I'm with Taz on this one. Not sure we'd even get that many down for Fulham. Yeah we'd break 1k but not by masses.

Fair play to the club for pursuing this and to Fulham for sorting it out also.
