We don't have Sky now unfortunately. There is a pub outside the ground but the clubhouse is much friendlier!
Speaking of Sky, they say that the pub landlady who is going to court with them over using foreign TV services will win.

Read in the Daily Mail yesterday, that Sky charges £7200pa....for pubs and clubs, its no wonder that smaller establishments are looking at alternatives.

The Gander (7 minutes walk away) has about four screens and shows all football as well as doing some great meals for about a fiver. Apart from that, you would need the town centre pubs.

Why don't you invite them down the SC Club Spider? Why should I? There are Sutton CC members on here who could do that.

erm might be a silly point but is the Sutton CC bar open to non members? I have been to the Gander once and have no intention to return in this lifetime.

Well as a member that is an interesting question. Probably technically you need to be a member or guest of the club or a member. However, noone would be turned away unless they were causing trouble, certainly in season.
For this weekend I would have to ask the club and get an indication of numbers, as well as check the stock situation(we are out of season). Whether they would want to drink there given the fact there is likely to be very few people about and no atmosphere is another question. As a Sutton football fan I wouldn't want us to take any potential takings away from there either.
